GDS integration connects a booking platform or website to a global distribution system so it can search, price, book and ticket airline content — and some hotel and car content — without an agent working the GDS screen. Innovate Solution integrates all three major GDS — Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport — into the ReservationHub booking platform and the TripGic travel API, using your own PCC / Office ID / SID, and shows GDS fares beside 37 NDC carriers and 100+ low-cost airlines in one normalised search.

The GDS are distribution partners of Innovate Solution, not competitors: we build the software that sits on top of their content.

Bring your own credentials

If your agency already holds a GDS contract, the integration runs on your existing PCC, Office ID or SID. That means no migration and no re-registration: you keep your negotiated fares, private fares and commissions, your ticketing authority and your GDS reporting. Agencies without their own GDS contract can use aggregated content through the platform; for flight ticketing you generally need your own IATA accreditation, a host-agency arrangement, or to work as a sub-agent under a consolidator.

Multi-GDS: why one GDS is rarely enough

The same itinerary can price differently across GDS, some carriers are stronger in one system than another, and many agencies hold contracts in more than one. A multi-GDS integration searches all connected GDS in parallel and returns one normalised result set. When an itinerary can be issued through several GDS, the platform can route ticketing by airline — see the dynamic multi-GDS ticketing case study.

GDS, NDC and low-cost carriers together

GDS content alone no longer covers the market: many full-service airlines sell richer offers through NDC, and most low-cost carriers sell outside the GDS. The integration layer returns NDC offers from 37 carriers (with Verteil, a certified partner) and 100+ low-cost airlines in the same search as GDS fares. Our GDS vs NDC guide explains what changes for sellers.

Integrated cryptic terminal

A graphical booking flow is faster for most tasks, but experienced agents still prefer commands for some. The integrated terminal gives full cryptic-command access to Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport (Galileo) inside the booking workflow — a thin layer over the live GDS session, with no batching or caching delay. Read the integrated GDS terminal case study.

After the booking

GDS integration does not stop at ticketing. PNR import and transfer, real-time void, refund and reissue are one click each (see travel agency automation), long text-based GDS fare rules are turned into readable summaries (see AI fare rules), and airline schedule changes are monitored after ticketing (see schedule-change alerts).

Frequently asked questions

What is GDS integration?

GDS integration connects a booking platform, website or app to a global distribution system such as Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport, so it can search, price, book and ticket airline content through software instead of an agent working the GDS terminal.

Which GDS does Innovate Solution integrate?

All three major GDS: Amadeus (Certified Partner), Sabre (partner integration) and Travelport including Galileo (Travelport Developer Network certified partner).

Can I use my own PCC or Office ID?

Yes. The integration runs on your existing PCC, Office ID or SID, so you keep your negotiated fares, commissions, ticketing authority and reporting without migrating accounts.

Can I combine GDS with NDC and low-cost carriers?

Yes. GDS fares appear in the same normalised search as 37 NDC carriers and 100+ low-cost airlines.

Do agents still get a cryptic GDS terminal?

Yes. An integrated terminal with full cryptic-command support for Sabre, Amadeus and Travelport sits inside the booking workflow.

Do I need IATA accreditation to ticket through a GDS?

For flight ticketing you generally need your own IATA accreditation, a host-agency arrangement, or to operate as a sub-agent under a consolidator. Hotels, transfers and activities do not require it.
