Our infrastructure approach

A successful application needs more than code.

The same application can feel fast and dependable or slow and fragile depending on where and how it runs. We treat infrastructure as part of the product — designed around how your business works and how it intends to grow.

That experience comes from running travel technology: booking engines and APIs that call many suppliers at once, absorb search bursts, send confirmations promptly and must never lose a booking. Those demands carry over to any serious web application.

  1. Reliable hosting

Servers chosen and configured for the workload, with separate environments for development, staging and production.

  2. Optimised delivery

CDN and caching so users in every region get a fast first load and the origin stays unburdened.

  3. Secure communications

TLS everywhere, authenticated email, protected secrets and access granted on a least-privilege basis.

  4. Effective monitoring

Metrics, logs and alerts that show what is happening — and backups that have actually been tested.

  5. Built around growth

An architecture that can scale up or out as traffic, data and transactions increase, without a rebuild.

Technologies listed are typical examples, not a fixed stack — we work with what your application needs and what you already run.

Infrastructure ecosystem

Platforms we work with, chosen per workload.

There is no single best provider for every application. We help you assess your requirements and select an environment that fits your workload, budget, performance, security and scalability needs — then configure it properly.

Amazon Web Services AWS

Broad cloud platform for compute, storage, content delivery, email sending and managed services — a fit when you want elastic capacity and building blocks you can add as you grow.

aws.amazon.com
OVHcloud OVHcloud

Cloud and dedicated server provider — a fit when you want dedicated hardware or straightforward cloud instances for steady, resource-heavy workloads with predictable costs.

Already hosted elsewhere? We assess and improve existing cloud or dedicated environments too, rather than forcing a move that brings no real benefit.

How we approach the choice

FactorWhat we look atWhere it tends to point
WorkloadTraffic shape, CPU/memory profile, storage and data growthVariable or bursty → cloud instances; steady and heavy → dedicated servers; often a mix
BudgetMonthly run cost, bandwidth, growth over 12–24 monthsRight-sized resources and reserved or dedicated capacity where usage is predictable
PerformanceLatency to users and suppliers, database and I/O demandsRegion choice, CDN, caching and the right storage class
SecurityData sensitivity, access model, compliance obligationsNetwork isolation, hardening, secrets handling and audit logging
ScalabilityExpected growth and how quickly capacity must changeStateless app tiers that scale out, with a database plan that keeps up

Built for scalability

Planned for more traffic, more data, more transactions.

We plan infrastructure around growth in visitors, API requests, database size, concurrent users and transaction volumes — and make each scaling step a deliberate decision rather than an emergency.

Flexible resource allocation

CPU, memory and storage matched to measured load, with headroom planned rather than guessed.

Vertical & horizontal scaling

Scale a server up when that is simplest; scale out behind a load balancer when one machine is no longer the right answer.

CDN-backed content delivery

Static assets served from the edge so the origin spends its capacity on dynamic requests and APIs.

Database & application tuning

Query and index review, caching layers and application profiling before adding hardware.

Monitoring & capacity planning

Resource, error and latency metrics that show when you are approaching a limit — before users notice.

Cost-conscious decisions

Right-sizing, choosing between cloud and dedicated, and removing idle resources that cost money and add risk.

Every system has limits. We design for reliability and headroom appropriate to your requirements and budget, but we do not promise unlimited scalability, zero downtime or guaranteed performance.

Who we support

Rooted in travel technology, open to every industry.

Our infrastructure experience was built running travel platforms — and it applies to any business whose application has to be fast, secure and available.

Travel technology companies

Booking engines, B2B portals and distribution platforms with supplier and API traffic.

Online travel agencies (OTAs)

Consumer booking sites and apps where speed and availability shape conversion.

Travel management companies (TMCs)

Corporate booking tools, approval workflows and client-facing portals.

Travel API providers

API platforms handling search bursts, caching and many concurrent connections.

SaaS platforms & software companies

Multi-tenant applications, background workers and transactional email at scale.

Enterprises with critical web applications

Business systems that need hardening, backups and a recovery plan they can rely on.

Not in travel? You are welcome too. The same services support SaaS products, e-commerce, internal business systems and other web applications.

Our engagement process

Five steps, from assessment to a running system.

  1. Step 1: Infrastructure assessment

We understand the application, its workload and traffic, its security requirements and your budget.

  2. Step 2: Architecture planning

We recommend a suitable server and infrastructure configuration, and explain the trade-offs.

  3. Step 3: Setup & deployment

We configure the environment and deploy the application into it.

  4. Step 4: Security & optimisation

We apply security controls and optimise performance against real measurements.

  5. Step 5: Monitoring & scaling

We help maintain the environment and adapt it as your business requirements change.

Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and scaling support depend on the service scope we agree — from a one-time setup and handover to continuing support.

FAQ

Cloud infrastructure services — frequently asked questions.

What cloud infrastructure services does Innovate Solution provide?

We plan, configure, secure and deploy the infrastructure applications run on: cloud and dedicated server configuration, CDN integration, business and transactional email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, web and mobile push notifications, production application deployment, and security, scaling and performance work. Engagements can cover one area or the full stack.

Do you only work with travel companies?

No. Travel technology is where we started and where most of our infrastructure experience comes from — booking engines, travel APIs and B2B portals — but the same services support SaaS platforms, software companies and enterprises running web applications in any industry.

Which infrastructure providers do you work with?

We work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and OVHcloud, among other environments. We help you choose based on workload, budget, performance, security and scalability requirements. We are not an AWS Partner, OVHcloud partner or reseller; you hold the account with the provider directly.

Should we use a cloud server or a dedicated server?

It depends on the workload. Cloud instances suit variable traffic, quick provisioning and managed services; dedicated servers suit steady, resource-heavy workloads where predictable performance and cost matter. Many applications combine both. We recommend a configuration after assessing your traffic, data and growth plans.

Can you set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for our domain?

Yes. We configure business email and transactional email for your domain, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, so messages such as booking confirmations, OTPs and system alerts are authenticated. We also help monitor deliverability and tighten the DMARC policy once legitimate mail is aligned.

Can you migrate an existing application to new servers?

Yes. We assess the current environment, plan the target architecture, set up and test the new environment, and plan the cut-over, including DNS, SSL/TLS, data migration and rollback steps, to keep disruption as low as practical.

Do you provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance?

Ongoing monitoring, maintenance and scaling support are available, and what is included depends on the service scope we agree. Some clients want a one-time setup and handover; others want continuing support as traffic and requirements change.

Do you guarantee uptime or performance?

No. We design for reliability — redundancy, backups, monitoring and recovery planning where your requirements justify them — but we do not promise zero downtime or guaranteed performance. Provider service levels are set by the infrastructure provider you use.

Who owns the servers, accounts and credentials?

You do. Infrastructure accounts are held in your name with the provider, and access is granted to our team on a least-privilege basis for the work in scope. Never send passwords or private keys by email; we agree a secure way to share access at the start of an engagement.

How do we start?

Talk to our technical team. Tell us about your application, current hosting, traffic and goals, and we will start with an infrastructure assessment and recommend next steps.
