Straight-line distance is a poor guide in Makkah: the route from a hotel lobby to an open gate can be far longer than it looks on a map. Umrah Map measures the actual walking time from each hotel entrance to the nearest open gate of Masjid al-Haram, and lets you filter hotels to within 5, 10 or 15 minutes on foot. The same applies in Madinah for the Prophet’s Mosque.
Each hotel opens in a single card with photos and video, the walking route to your gate and back to the lobby, a 3D view, Street View, facilities such as 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi and wheelchair access, and a link to open the route in Google Maps. Enter your dates and party size to see the room types the hotel offers, with details supplied by hotel suppliers.
