What is Dispatch and auto-dispatch?
Assigning a vehicle and a driver to each booked trip. A dispatcher does it by hand on a dispatch board; auto-dispatch does it by rule — matching the vehicle class to the booking and skipping vehicles or drivers that are busy, blocked or out of compliance. Vendor fallback hands the trip to a sub-contractor when no own vehicle is free.
