There is no honest single price for a B2B travel portal, because the cost is set by a handful of decisions: how you deploy it, which suppliers and modules you need, how much you customise, and how much you sell. This guide explains each driver and the third-party costs that sit outside any software quote, so you can compare proposals like for like. Innovate Solution prices every portal by quote; this page deliberately gives no numbers.

Why no price list? Two portals with the same name can differ by an order of magnitude in scope. A quote scoped to your suppliers, markets and agent network is the only figure worth comparing.

1. Deployment edition — the biggest single driver

EditionHow you payWhat it buys you
Cloud SaaSSubscriptionHosting, upgrades and supplier maintenance included; fastest go-live — minutes once supplier agreements are signed
Source CodeOne-time licenceThe code on your own servers: data residency and code-level customisation; you carry hosting and operations
Travel APIUsage-basedSupplier aggregation behind your own front end; you build and run the interface

Same platform, three ways to buy it — see white-label booking engine and source-code edition.

2. Suppliers and content

Every supplier connection is work to build, certify and maintain. A platform that already has the connections you need (GDS, NDC, low-cost carriers, bed-banks, transfers, activities, visas) costs far less than one that must build them for you. List the suppliers you have contracts with — or want — before you ask for quotes, and ask each vendor which are already live. Our current list is on integrations.

3. Modules

Quotes grow with scope. Common modules that change the price: a B2C storefront in addition to the B2B portal; sub-agent hierarchies with credit and deposits; PNR automation and an integrated GDS terminal; Umrah operations (UmrahCore); travel accounting (travoBooks); revenue and margin intelligence (TRI); omnichannel messaging (Inno Message); mobile apps.

4. Customisation and branding

Configuration — your domain, logo, colours, markup rules — is part of any white-label setup. Custom workflows, screens or integrations with your existing systems are engineering work, priced by scope. On our platform, full white-label customisation or custom integrations typically take 2–6 weeks.

5. Volume and markets

Search and booking volume, the number of agents, and the number of markets, currencies and languages all influence the price — especially on usage-based API pricing and on the infrastructure a self-hosted edition needs.

Costs outside the software quote

These belong in your budget whichever vendor you choose:

  • Supplier and GDS agreements — signed directly between you and each supplier or GDS, on their terms.
  • Airline ticketing accreditation — your own IATA accreditation, a host-agency arrangement or a consolidator setup.
  • Payment gateway fees on card payments.
  • Payment security compliance if you handle card data — see IATA PCI DSS compliance.
  • Hosting and operations if you self-host the source code — see cloud infrastructure services.
  • Your own team — staff to manage agents, content and support.

How to compare quotes fairly

  1. Send every vendor the same brief: suppliers, modules, markets, agent count and expected volume.
  2. Ask which supplier connections are live today, and which would be built for you.
  3. Compare total cost over several years, not the first invoice — including upgrades, support and hosting.
  4. Check the exit path: can you move from SaaS to source code without re-platforming?

Our vendor evaluation checklist turns this into scoring questions, and build vs buy covers the custom-build route.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a B2B travel portal cost?

It depends on the deployment edition (SaaS subscription, one-time source-code licence or usage-based API), the suppliers and modules you need, customisation and volume. Innovate Solution prices each portal by quote, scoped to your suppliers, markets and agent network.

Is SaaS or source code cheaper?

SaaS spreads the cost as a subscription and includes hosting and maintenance; source code is a one-time licence but you carry hosting and operations. Which is cheaper over time depends on your volume, customisation needs and in-house team.

What costs are not in the software quote?

Supplier and GDS agreements, airline ticketing accreditation, payment gateway fees, payment security compliance if you handle card data, hosting if you self-host, and your own staff.

Why does Innovate Solution not publish portal prices?

Because scope varies too much for a list price to be meaningful. A quote built on your suppliers, modules, markets and volume is the only figure worth comparing.
